Lexsoul Dancemachine’s Lex-mas concert on the 20th of December also saw the premiere of new short documentary “Can We Make It?”. The 45-minute long film by Ako Lehemets portrays the band’s journey through the challenges but also successes of year 2020.
The documentary offers a unique insight into the emotions of band members and contributors throughout the year. It shows exclusive behind the scenes and backstage footage from Lexsoul’s first bandcamp, the obstacle-conquering coming of Lexplosion II and summer-time highlights. Among other events, organising the first post-lockdown show and a 3.5 hours long concert on top of a driving bus are discussed. With the documentary the band thanks everyone involved with the Lexplosion II journey, but also wishes to demonstrate the importance of culture and music in times that at first seem desperate. The film is now available on Lexsoul Dancemachine’s Youtube channel.
