Diggers rejoice! Groove of ESSR III will be out in 2025 with a tracklist that puts a smile on the compilers’ face. The formula of “booties shaken, soul stirred” is evident from all Funk Embassy activities, so it’s also true for this archival music project. Once again, we are bringing unreleased music out of the shadows, while also reminding you of some more known tunes. Groove of ESSR III is bringing jazz-funk instrumentals in both orchestral as well as band formations. We have bossa and easylistening to sooth the soul. Add folk, blues and all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff in the mix. Stories and biographies of the artists will be printed on the sleeve of the 12 inch.
